Sponsorship Program.
DirectWest’s Sponsorship Program supports non-profit and charitable organizations in Saskatchewan. As a SaskTel company, DirectWest coordinates all requests for support with SaskTel to ensure duplication does not occur.
Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
The non-profit and/or charitable organization must be located in Saskatchewan and involved in activities that directly benefit a Saskatchewan community or the province. The activity can be an event, program, and projects.
Restrictions:
The program is unable to support:
- The same organization more than once each calendar year.
- Travel and accommodation expenses for out-of-province events.
- Research projects.
- Capital projects or operating costs.
- Individual applicants or individual teams.
- Political parties, candidates or lobby groups.
- Religious organizations.
- Funding for publications or video productions.
- The purchase of advertising space in event programs.
In order to consider your sponsorship, DirectWest requires a request in writing. Please include the following information:
- Name, address, and telephone number of your organization.
- Name of the contact person.
- Purpose of the organization, and the number of people you involve or assist.
- Description of your project, activity or event.
- Amount of funding requested.
- Number of people expected to attend or participate.
- Event / program operating budget, including other sources of funding for the event / program.
- Opportunities to recognize DirectWest as a sponsor.
- Project / activity / event outcomes.
